Surveys and Elections

ITS recently purchased Opinio, an online survey software application that will allow UNM departments and organizations to conduct surveys and elections online.

Opinio allows users to produce and publish surveys that can be completed via a Web browser. Users have complete control over survey design, including the formatting and layout of questions, and the look and feel of the survey. Surveys can be set up with secured access, so that, for instance, only those with a valid UNM NetID and password can take the survey.

Questionnaire Development and Scanning

ITS currently offers several questionnaire development and scanning services, using standard and custom forms, for surveys, elections, tests or any other purpose requiring a questionnaire format.

Services are available to the UNM community (e.g., administrators, faculty, researchers and students) as well as to other state and academic agencies. Fees are based on the services provided.

Services include:

helping you design and formulate your questionnaire
designing the bubbletron or scantron form on which your results are collected
precisely printing the form on a spot color printer, so it is scanable
scanning the completed forms using an optical mark recognition scanner
providing statistical analysis of the results
