Microsoft ODBC For Oracle Installation
Windows 98/2000.
Note: You must have Oracle Sql*net installed prior to setting up the ODBC driver. If you are using Oracle tools or Discoverer you have Sql*net installed on your PC. Otherwise, contact Rick Campbell or Barbara Pfaff to obtain Oracle Sql*net. See contact information below.
Click on Start, Settings, Control Panel. Double click on Administrative Tools.
Double click on Data Sources (ODBC).

In the ODBC Data Source Administrator window select the System DSN tab. Click on Add.

In the Create New Data Source window, select Microsoft ODBC for Oracle and click on Finish.

In the Microsoft ODBC for Oracle Setup window complete each section as shown below. A User Name is not required. Upon Completion, click on OK.

You’ll be taken back to the ODBC Data Source Administrator window and your new DWHP data source will be there. Click on OK and you’re done. Close all Control Panel related windows.
