Conference Services

ITS can provide support for conferences sponsored by UNM faculty, staff or student groups. Fees charged are based on the services provided. ITS recommends scheduling conferences during semester breaks, when they will have less impact on normal University operations.

Available Services

Facilities

ITS pods and classrooms can be scheduled for workshops, conferences and training sessions during semester breaks only, when regular classes, facilities upgrades and other events are not scheduled.

Attendees will have access to UNM computing resources and online documentation. The costs associated with opening, monitoring and closing the facility will be included in the fee.

Computer Accounts

ITS will coordinate conference attendees' access to their own computer accounts through ITS' facilities. ITS can also set up temporary NetIDs for attendees to use for the duration of the conference.

Software Installation

ITS can install any special software required for conference use at ITS facilities.

Note: Conference coordinators are responsible for purchasing special software and must provide ITS with the software four months in advance of the event for installation and testing.
